Overview

Acadia is searching for a patient-inspired, results-oriented, and collaborative sales professional to join our team as an Area Business Manager. You will have the unique opportunity to promote our rare disease product, the first and only FDA-approved treatment specifically for Rett syndrome in adults and pediatric patients two years and older.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in life sciences.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience for Area Business Manager.
• 8+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience for Sr. Area Business Manager.
• Experience in specialty sales, particularly in rare diseases.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and develop actionable business plans.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
• Must be in good standing with the FDA and OIG.
• Ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds.
• Must live within the assigned territory.
