Overview

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping Acadia’s presence in the neuroscience space, working closely with key national and regional patient advocacy groups and medical societies. Your mission will be to build and nurture strong, meaningful relationships that support both our current and future therapeutic areas.

In Short

  • Represent the company with select Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s associations.
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Support execution of sponsorships and programs.
  • Activate initiatives impacting public policies.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers.
  • Demonstrate product and disease state knowledge.
  • Contribute to strategic plans for advocacy.
  • Manage regional budgets for advocacy activities.
  • Champion patient and medical professional voices.
  • Monitor competitive activity and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, healthcare, or related field.
  • 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech.
  • 3 years of patient advocacy leadership experience.
  • Understanding of Patient Advocacy landscape and CNS.
  • Previous territory manager experience preferred.
  • Proven negotiation skills with regional partners.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel independently up to 70% of the time.
