Quality Control Manager - Remote

Overview

The Quality Control Manager (QCM) is a key leader in ensuring that all quality policies and practices are consistently implemented across construction projects. This role provides technical expertise, leadership, and coordination in all areas of quality management while collaborating with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors.

• Works with Project Manager, Superintendents, and subcontractors to develop compliant processes.
• Collaborates with project teams and subcontractors.
• Maintains relationships with engineers and industry associations.
• Develops project-specific quality management plans.
• Conducts site visits and inspections.
• Provides training and coaching on quality risks.
• Reviews shop drawings for compliance.
• Chairs weekly QC meetings with stakeholders.
• Oversees QC/QA reports.
• Ensures compliance with contract requirements.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Construction Standards and Best Practices.
• Working knowledge of the International Building Code.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Computer skills using Procore, Viewpoint, SharePoint, MS Office.
• Associate or bachelor degree in Quality Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related area.
• Minimum of 6 years of construction experience as a Quality Control Manager.
