Quality Control Manager - Remote

Overview

The Quality Control Manager (QCM) is a key leader in ensuring that all quality policies and practices are consistently implemented across construction projects. This role provides technical expertise, leadership, and coordination in all areas of quality management while collaborating with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors.

In Short

• Develop and enforce project-specific Quality Management Plans (QMPs).
• Work collaboratively with project teams and subcontractors to meet quality goals.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and constructability reviews to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and specifications.
• Lead the Three Phase Inspection process.
• Chair and document preparatory and weekly QC meetings.
• Review and approve shop drawings and contract documents.
• Provide training and coaching to project teams.
• Maintain records of quality control activities and non-conformance logs.
• Act as the primary Quality Control representative.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of construction experience in a quality control management role.
• Proficiency in Procore, Viewpoint, SharePoint, and MS Office.
• In-depth knowledge of construction standards and the International Building Code (IBC).
• Proven experience with diverse project types.
• Strong analytical skills and exceptional organizational capabilities.
