Overview

The Associate Director, R&D Enterprise Operations, will support the Chief of Staff for R&D in managing strategic projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and facilitating communication to ensure the smooth execution of strategic initiatives and the priorities of the Head of R&D and Chief of Staff for R&D.

In Short

  • Assist the Chief of Staff of R&D in planning, executing, and monitoring strategic and special projects.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely completion of project milestones.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including the Head of R&D and the R&D leadership team.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including timelines and status reports.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project success.
  • Support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct research in industry trends and market conditions.
  • Assist in the preparation of scientific presentations and reports.
  • Support culture-building activities and events.
  • Develop R&D and pipeline-related content for various audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM, communications or related field.
  • 8 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical/medical device industry.
  • Project management certificate preferred (i.e. PMP, Six Sigma).
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Adept at building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience working independently and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time.
