Field Reimbursement Manager, Advanced Parkinson’s - Remote

Overview

The Parkinson’s Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) acts as an alternative in-office resource that is available to address HCP questions about patient access. The FRM calls directly on HCP offices in their assigned, specific geography to answer questions about patient access & reimbursement in support of Duopa and Vyalev.

• Field-based role requiring candidates to live near the primary city.
• Educate HCPs on patient support programs and reimbursement tools.
• Provide expertise on coverage and access challenges for specific products.
• Advise HCPs on patient prescription status and eligibility.
• Liaise with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement support center.
• Report payer trends related to approved products.
• Establish relationships with providers in the territory.
• Stay updated on managed care and reimbursement policies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in rare disease and managed health care.
• Understanding of reimbursement support services regulations.
• Knowledge of payer policy processes for specialty medicines.
• Ability to communicate coding and billing requirements effectively.
• Comprehensive understanding of Medicare reimbursement dynamics.
• Understanding of drug acquisition in the rare disease space.
• Excellent territory and account management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
