Overview

The Customer Solutions Specialist (CSS) is a key member of the Access and Reimbursement team within AbbVie Patient Services, responsible for enhancing the patient prescription experience through the use of AbbVie’s in-office portals and access-related solutions.

• Field-based role requiring proximity to San Francisco and San Jose, CA.
• Represent AbbVie’s electronic solutions to healthcare provider (HCP) offices.
• Evaluate and diagnose patient Rx experience disruptions.
• Develop relationships with HCPs and provide updates on portal functionalities.
• Collaborate with AbbVie field teams to implement solutions.
• Strong understanding of drug acquisition and dispensing processes.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in healthcare or pharmaceuticals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Valid driver’s license required for travel.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience with drugs requiring prior authorization.
• Knowledge of specialty pharmacies and biologics.
• Strong territory and account management skills.
• Ability to influence and partner cross-functionally.
• Understanding of compliance regulations.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Windows.
• Demonstrated ability to uncover patient needs.
• Ability to handle complex HCP settings strategically.
• Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
