Field Service Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Engineer at SCIEX is responsible for maintaining, installing, and repairing scientific instrumentation at customer sites, contributing to life sciences and diagnostics.

In Short

• Maintain, install, and repair instrumentation at customer sites.
• Work independently to resolve customer and technical issues.
• Perform qualifications services and customer training.
• Document service activities and manage inventory.
• Travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
• Mentor and develop less experienced staff members.
• Utilize knowledge of mass spectrometry and HPLC.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with mass spectrometry or scientific instrumentation.
• Ability to travel and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical technology.
