Overview

The Lead Security Engineer will be part of the Slack Security Customer Protection team, focusing on protecting customer data and ensuring a secure platform by developing tools to detect and respond to malicious activities.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Information Security roles.
• Ability to envision security incident scenarios and develop empathetic detections.
• Experience in querying large datasets for investigations.
• Knowledge of Threat Actor Tactics, Techniques & Procedures (TTPs).
• Experience in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR).
• Clear communication skills with technical and non-technical teams.
• Expertise in high-level programming languages, especially Python or Go.
• Proficient in writing efficient SQL queries.
• Enthusiasm for automation and embracing new technologies.
