Lead IT Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Lead IT Security Engineer at ZOE will be instrumental in shaping and implementing the IT security strategy to protect our SaaS-based environment, devices, and data, collaborating closely with various teams to embed a culture of security across the organization.

• Shape and implement a comprehensive IT security roadmap.
• Drive security programs for corporate devices and contractor/BYOD setups.
• Assess and manage security risks across our SaaS ecosystem.
• Develop and enforce security policies and frameworks.
• Lead security compliance efforts with the Legal team.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents.
• Cultivate a security-first culture through ongoing training.
• Evaluate and deploy security tools and technologies.
• Own privileged access reviews and enforce least privilege.
• Stay ahead of evolving security threats and trends.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in corporate IT security or cybersecurity.
• Proven ability to design and implement security strategies.
• Strong understanding of network security and device management.
• Awareness of cloud security practices (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Hands-on expertise in incident response and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, DPA, CCPA).
• Experience embedding security culture and running awareness programs.
• Ability to communicate security risks effectively.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Experience working in a remote, international team is a plus.
