Overview

The management consulting team provides consulting services, counsel, and thought leadership to clients and for internal initiatives. The Senior Director of Nonprofit Salesforce Expertise (official title upon hire will be Senior Director of Management Consulting) at Zuri Group plays an important role in shaping the future of our clients and driving excellence in their fundraising, donor relations, and stewardship endeavors. As the Senior Director, you will be a part of a dynamic team, spearheading a diverse range of projects that include advancement operations assessments, change management analysis, business process enhancement, and ecosystem evaluation. Our clientele spans large healthcare systems, universities, arts and cultural organizations, and other impactful non-profit entities. Beyond this, you will lead critical fit-gap assessments, system selections, and ecosystem planning, as well as contribute to substantial software implementation activities.

In Short

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide tailored counsel on current state fundraising ecosystems.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing culture by contributing to internal documentation and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for operational enhancements and formulate strategies to streamline processes.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to co-create and implement effective fundraising plans.
  • Collect, interpret, and analyze data, presenting findings to project team members and client stakeholders.
  • Lead consulting engagements aimed at transforming how clients execute their work.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to spot emerging trends and best practices.
  • Direct, oversee, and evaluate functional and technical requirements for projects.
  • Provide training and coaching to client staff.
  • Proactively offer recommendations and best practice counsel to support clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in advancement/development services or as a senior consultant.
  • Bachelor's degree or 5-7 years of relevant leadership experience.
  • Experience working with Salesforce, especially in implementation.
  • Deep experience leading and consulting on development/advancement organizations.
  • Up-to-date industry knowledge in fundraising and non-profit industry.
  • Capability to direct broad projects for large clients.
  • Ability to explore and assess substantial complexity and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Highly analytical and technically proficient.
  • Drive to solve problems efficiently and creatively.
  • Demonstrated writing and communication skills.
