The Senior Vendor Manager is responsible for managing customer experience, topline performance, and profitability for vendors in the branded accessories category. This role involves negotiating contracts, managing promotional activities, and resolving operational issues while focusing on market trends and vendor relationships.

  • Initiate attractive product presentations and manage vendor agreements.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to drive growth.
  • Influence vendors to prioritize customer experience and efficiency.
  • Review promotion results and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Identify vendor issues and direct teams to resolve them.
  • Audit metrics to improve customer experience quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for scalable solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and maintain documentation.
  • Acquire new vendor partners to enhance the accessories portfolio.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in a business-related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Category Management or Vendor Management.
  • Experience in the retail or pet industry preferred.
  • Work experience in an international company.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and market requirements.
  • Strong influencing abilities and vendor management experience.
  • Fluency in German and English.
