License Advisor - Remote

Overview

The License Advisor will act as a subject matter expert on software and subscription licensing, working closely with clients and sales teams to drive growth and optimize contracts.

• Uncover and land new opportunities and clients.
• Manage publisher agreement lifecycles.
• Drive cloud assessments and licensing contract optimizations.
• Provide pre-sales support for cloud and software opportunities.

• Work with sales teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Evaluate customer licensing to optimize spending.
• Communicate with clients for business reviews and status calls.
• Support standardized reviews to meet licensing requirements.
• Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of IT landscape.
• 3 years of account management or IT software support experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to provide world-class customer service.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to act quickly.
• Experience with Microsoft product terms and conditions.
• Adobe experience is a plus.
• Completion of Microsoft MCP (Licensing) certification.
• Experience managing agreements.
• Other software and cloud certifications are beneficial.
