Head of Finance, Africa - Remote

Overview

As Head of Finance for Zipline Africa, you will be a core member of Zipline’s Africa Leadership Team, responsible for driving financial strategy, operational efficiency, and growth initiatives across our Africa operations.

In Short

• Act as a strategic partner to Zipline’s Africa leadership team.
• Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
• Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency strategies.
• Develop long-term financial models to assess market strategies.
• Partner with local accounting teams to improve financial reporting.
• Participate in audit processes and ensure compliance.
• Serve as a financial thought leader for Zipline’s operations in Africa.
• Conduct strategic financial analysis to enhance scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for new product launches.
• Develop roadmaps for launching Platform 2 in Africa.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in finance, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS.
• Experience managing financial operations for an international company.
• Proven ability to partner with in-country finance teams.
• Excellent financial modeling and strategic analysis skills.
• Experience with operations-heavy businesses.
• Ability to influence executive stakeholders.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
