Overview

The Head of Finance will oversee the financial operations of the company, shaping and executing the financial strategy while ensuring strong financial management practices.

In Short

• Lead the production of the 5-year financial strategy and business plan.
• Responsible for timely month-end accounting close and management accounts.
• Establish and own the annual budgeting process.
• Lead business partnering with all departments for budget management.
• Develop financial models to support strategic decisions.
• Provide ad hoc analysis for key decision-making.
• Track business performance against financial and operational KPIs.
• Prepare periodic board packs and manage audit processes.
• Enhance financial processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Mentor junior finance team members.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 8-10 years of relevant finance experience, with 3-5 years in a senior role.
• Expert-level financial modeling skills.
• Experience in fast-paced tech or FinTech environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Startup experience is preferred.
