Head of Finance - Remote

Overview

As the Head of Finance at Mesa, you will play a critical role in driving business outcomes and scaling product lines while leading essential finance functions.

In Short

• Lead FP&A, capital markets, treasury, and accounting functions.
• Develop detailed financial models for revenue and profitability forecasting.
• Prepare regular financial reports and lead finance reviews.
• Analyze trends and present findings to senior management.
• Partner with cross-functional teams for strategic initiatives.
• Participate in strategic planning and conduct scenario analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field; MBA preferred.
• 7-10+ years in financial planning and analysis.
• Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Must love dogs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 7-10+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with experience in the financial services industry.
• Must have experience owning and executing a capital markets function.
• Experience with debt facilities.
• Experience in the lending, loyalty, or credit card industry is a plus.
• Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, financial metrics, and key performance indicators.
• Strong emotional intelligence (able to manage yourself and others).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software.
• Must love dogs.
