Head of Finance - Remote

Overview

The Head of Finance will significantly shape our financial strategy and operationally elevate it to the next level by working closely with the VP Finance, management, and external stakeholders.

In Short

• Overall responsibility for operational finance and accounting as well as controlling.
• Build and optimize scalable financial processes.
• Create and monitor financial plans and forecasts.
• Develop internal reporting and relevant KPIs.
• Manage liquidity and ensure financial stability.
• Act as a contact point for external partners.
• Lead and develop the finance team.

Requirements

• Completed studies in business administration with a focus on finance or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in finance, ideally in a B2B/B2C SaaS environment.
• Solid knowledge of German commercial law (HGB), preferably also IFRS.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, DATEV, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strategic thinking, analytical strength, and hands-on mentality.
• Strong communication skills and high level of responsibility.
• Experience in stakeholder management and working with external partners.
• Fluent in German and very good English skills.
