Asymmetric Research is a boutique security venture focused on deep partnerships with L1/L2 blockchains and DeFi protocols to keep them safe.

In Short

• Oversee accounts payable, invoicing, and payment processing.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and financial documentation.
• Conduct quarterly finance reviews and provide financial projections.
• Work with external bookkeepers and tax advisors for compliance.
• Manage tax filings and maintain audit readiness.
• Develop financial models and forecasts for operational planning.
• Manage financial transactions related to crypto payments.
• Assist with general business operations intersecting with finance.
• Improve internal finance workflows and reporting tools.
• Support business operations with data-driven financial insights.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in finance and accounting.
• CPA certification or equivalent tax experience is a plus.
• Experience handling invoicing and tax filings.
• Strong understanding of financial compliance and tax regulations.
• Comfortable using financial software and cloud-based accounting.
• Interest in blockchain and Web3 finance.
• Ability to manage crypto transactions and digital asset reporting.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
