Head of Finance - Remote

Overview

As Head of Finance, you will significantly shape our financial strategy and operationally elevate it to the next level. In close collaboration with our VP Finance, management, and external stakeholders, you will be responsible for all central financial areas—from planning to forecasting to reporting for investors.

In Short

• Overall responsibility for operational finance and accounting as well as controlling.
• Building and optimizing scalable financial processes.
• Creating and monitoring financial plans and forecasts.
• Further developing internal reporting and relevant KPIs.
• Liquidity management and monitoring cash flows.
• Point of contact for external partners like tax advisors and auditors.
• Leading and developing the finance team.

Requirements

• Completed degree in business administration with a focus on finance or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in finance in a B2B/B2C SaaS environment.
• Good understanding of current AI developments applied in finance.
• Solid knowledge of German commercial law (HGB) and IFRS.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, DATEV, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strategic thinking, analytical strength, and a hands-on mentality.
• Strong communication skills and high responsibility.
• Experience in stakeholder management and working with external partners.
• Fluent in German and very good English skills.
