QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

The QA Engineer will join a diverse team at ZigZag Global, contributing to the quality assurance processes in a remote/hybrid environment based in Bulgaria.

In Short

• Review and analyze system specifications
• Conduct Back-End QA
• Collaborate with QA Engineers on strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases and analyze results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Create logs documenting testing phases and defects
• Report bugs to development teams
• Troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release testing
• Work with cross-functional teams for quality assurance

Requirements

• Experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Knowledge of test management software (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience with REST APIs and Postman is an advantage
