QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

We seek a mid-level, experienced, passionate, and great attitude(!) to join our fantastic growing team as a manual and automation QA.

In Short

• Conduct comprehensive testing of software applications to identify and report issues.
• Contribute to software release testing programs to uphold quality standards and prevent regressions.
• Create and manage test sets, regression, and sanity cycles.
• Plan and write test scenarios according to the requirements.
• Perform manual testing – client & server sides, data pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of new features and enhancements.
• Document test cases, procedures, and results thoroughly for reference and future use.
• Prioritize and manage workload effectively to meet project timelines.
• Develop automation test cases and improve the automation infrastructure.
• Work in an Agile squad.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience as a QA of Frontend and Backend, preferably in a start-up, agile, or fast-paced environment.
• 1+ years of professional experience as a QA automation developer.
• 1+ years of professional experience with SQL (PostgreSQL). NoSQL (MongoDB) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript for writing automation scripts.
• Familiarity with QA methodologies.
• Ability to document and manage test cases.
• Ability to work well in a team environment while also demonstrating independence.
• Proactive, curious, and possessing an "out of the box" mindset to approach challenges creatively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
