QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for our first dedicated QA Engineer to help us ensure quality in our product development process, working collaboratively with engineering teams to prevent defects.

In Short

• Own the test-process of bi-weekly mobile releases.
• Conduct regression testing and new feature validation across mobile and web.
• Collaborate with engineers to proactively catch issues before they reach users.
• Define test strategies before development starts.
• Draft and execute test plans for robust features.
• Identify edge cases and potential pitfalls early in the process.
• Conduct exploratory testing across mobile, web, and APIs.
• Work closely with developers to improve product quality.
• Identify gaps in testing and propose improvements.
• Participate in a collaborative and proactive QA culture.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience testing native mobile apps (iOS/Android) and web applications.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, and exploratory testing methodologies.
• Proactive and collaborative mindset.
• Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Analytical and process-oriented approach.
• Experience with API testing is a plus.
• Familiarity with test automation is a bonus.
• Experience in Quality Assistance or Shift-Left Testing is desirable.
