YipitData is seeking a highly skilled Data Pipeline Engineer to join our dynamic Data Engineering team, where you will play a crucial role in supporting strategic pipelines and optimizing for reliability, efficiency, and performance.

In Short

• Work with strategic engineering leaders and report directly to the Director of Data Engineering.
• Be one of the founding members of the Data Engineering team in India.
• Work with a global team spanning three continents.
• Handle big data challenges with cutting-edge tools.
• Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate business logic into pipelines.
• Deepen knowledge of Databricks, Spark, and internal ETL tools.
• Expect overlap with US working hours during training.
• Flexible hybrid work schedule once office space is established.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in other technical roles.
• Solid understanding of Spark and SQL.
• Experience in building data pipelines.
• Comfortable working with large-scale datasets using PySpark, Delta, and Databricks.
• Ability to learn new technologies and solve data challenges.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Nice to have: Experience with Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, or equivalent.
