Overview

The Lead Technical Advisor will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations for a group of employees while providing technical expertise and support in Diesel-Electric locomotives maintenance and repair in Guinea.

• Lead and support Wabtec technical advisors and customer teams.
• Ensure operations run smoothly on a rotational FIFO basis.
• Provide training and mentorship to employees.

• Conduct operational risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Coordinate field modifications and monitor effectiveness.
• Lead a team during shifts to ensure successful maintenance execution.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a Technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a customer-facing role.
• Wabtec L1 Locomotive Technical training certificate.
• Experience working in a shop environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Proven problem identification and solution skills.
