Overview

The Quantity Surveyor will play a crucial role in the engineering and construction industry, assisting the project team with financial and contractual matters.

• Perform quantity surveying activities for engineering projects.
• Assist the Resident Engineer with financial and contractual aspects.
• Measure and price using contract drawings and specifications.
• Handle interim and final payments, variations, and claims.
• Maintain cost and quantity records.
• Prepare financial statements for monthly reports.
• Evaluate contractor claims and prepare recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Participate in progress and commercial meetings.
• Work independently to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Strong knowledge of post-contract administration.
• Proficiency in engineering and construction software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Currently based in the UAE.
