In this role, you will be responsible for managing and controlling project costs from inception through to completion, ensuring that the project is delivered on time and within budget.

• Review construction plans and prepare detailed quantity requirements
• Analyze costs related to materials, labor, and maintenance for cost optimization
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors
• Collaborate with site managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution
• Prepare and maintain accurate project reports, budgets, and risk assessments
• Provide recommendations for improvements to enhance project outcomes
• Track and order materials to maintain project flow
• Document design changes and corresponding budget updates
• Establish and maintain strong professional relationships

Requirements

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven experience in quantity surveying or a related field
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong negotiation skills
• Proficient in project management software
• Knowledge of construction processes and regulations
