Overview

A unique opportunity for an aspiring finance individual who is working in the hospitality industry! This role will offer a mixture of location based, remote working and travel requirements from Scotland to North of England, supporting the finance department in partnering with the BaxterStorey operations teams to offer insightful reporting, accounts, analysis, recommendations and trading plus much more!

In Short

  • Proactively partner with the Operations Team to improve financial performance.
  • Promote a strong financial control environment across locations.
  • Support the monthly completion of trading accounts.
  • Produce period end variance analysis and insightful reporting.
  • Assist Operations Team in client and company forecasts and budgets.
  • Carry out financial audits and advise on best practices.
  • Follow up on financial health check audits.
  • Provide financial training and support.

Requirements

  • Experience in the hospitality industry in a similar position.
  • Studying or part qualified CIMA or equivalent.
  • Experience in a multi-location business.
  • Experience in financial training.
  • Commercial or retail finance experience.
  • Outgoing personality with rapport-building skills.
  • Proactive and organized with flexible working hours.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
