Finance Manager - Remote

Overview

Heizma is rapidly growing, and with that, the demands on our finances, analyses, and structures are increasing. We are currently building a centralized Finance & Controlling system that serves as a strategic backbone for our scaling.

As a Finance Manager, you will be part of this build and bring not only expertise but also entrepreneurial thinking. You will work closely with management, operations, and external partners, taking responsibility for Finance & Legal topics and developing structures that enable Heizma to scale profitably and sustainably.

The goal: Transparency, efficiency, and control security in a dynamic startup that is transforming a billion-dollar market.

In Short

• Ensure proper preparatory accounting, including verification and posting of documents and coordination with operations and tax consulting.
• Create variance analyses and cost and margin analyses for our projects, including contributing to clear recommendations for optimizations.
• Actively participate in budgeting, forecasting, and working capital management with your own ideas and improvement suggestions.
• Support the development and maintenance of KPI systems, dashboards, and automated financial processes (Excel, PowerBI, Agicap).
• Assist with legal issues, such as preparing employment contracts or compliance topics.
• Direct contact with clients regarding invoicing and payment plan questions – professionally, solution-oriented, and reliable.

Requirements

• Completed degree in economics or comparable training (Finance, Controlling, Accounting).
• 2–4 years of professional experience, ideally in a dynamic, fast-growing company.
• Very good Excel skills; experience with PowerBI and Agicap is a plus.
• Very good German skills (at least C1) and secure communication in English.
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style – with a passion for taking on responsibility.
• Interest in legal issues (first experiences in labor or tax law are an advantage).
• Friendly, professional, and reliable demeanor in dealing with clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Desire to work in a dynamic startup environment where speed and ownership count.
