WorldQuant develops and deploys systematic financial strategies across a broad range of asset classes and global markets. • Join the BRAIN team at WorldQuant as a research intern.
• Create and develop Alphas and algorithms.
• Conduct research on quantitative finance literature.
• Identify and design new research domains.
• Analyze platform functionalities and provide solutions.
• Design and test new functionalities on the BRAIN platform.
• Work with business development partners to enhance BRAIN strategy.
• Conduct training sessions for users and consultants.
• Prepare and update training curriculum.
• Possess a strong interest in financial markets.

Requirements

• Familiarity with BRAIN or similar platforms preferred.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a quantitative field.
• Programming experience in Java, C++, Python, MySQL, or SQL.
• Knowledge of UNIX preferred.
• Self-starter with a research scientist mindset.
• Good communication and presentation skills in English.
