Freight Logistics Coordinator - West Coast - Remote

Overview

The Freight Logistics Coordinator ensures excellent customer service through timely processing of orders and logistics support for the movement of recycled materials.

In Short

• Provide logistics support for domestic and international shipments.
• Communicate with customers to monitor inventories and schedule equipment.
• Negotiate freight costs for timely service.
• Respond to customer complaints and investigate shipment issues.
• Maintain shipment status and initiate delivery calls.
• Develop relationships with vendors and customers.
• Handle documentation for all shipments, including export documentation.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and vendor payments.
• Collaborate with sales representatives to meet customer expectations.
• Work in an office setting with a focus on customer service.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of relevant customer service experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, basic Excel required.
• Ability to use a computer for work tasks.
• Must live and work in the US.
