Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Assistant to join our team. The Legal Assistant, also known as a Paralegal, will assist individual attorneys or legal teams by preparing and managing legal documents, performing legal research, compiling evidence, and providing support during court proceedings. This role requires excellent communication, organization, and document management skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment.

In Short

• Draft, proofread, and file legal documents
• Perform administrative tasks like scheduling depositions
• Prepare and file court documents using e-filing systems
• Communicate with attorneys, adjusters, and medical professionals
• Update and maintain case management systems

Requirements

• Experience in a fast-paced legal environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• High accuracy in word processing and document preparation
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree or certification as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal preferred
• Familiarity with online court filing systems
• Ability to work with multiple attorneys simultaneously
• Experience using dictation and transcription software
