Overview

The Head of Corporate Security at Whatnot will be responsible for overseeing and executing the company’s security strategy with a primary focus on ensuring the safety of the company’s employees, assets, and facilities.

• Develop and lead the security strategy for Whatnot’s offices, events, and executive protection programs.
• Implement and oversee security protocols for in-person company events.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in corporate security or risk management.
• Proven experience in managing security operations for office settings and events.
• Strong understanding of public information exposure risks.
• Ability to assess security needs and design protection strategies.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating security protocols.
• Experience in developing and leading security programs.
• Deep understanding of physical security technologies.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with HR and legal teams.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proactive approach in high-pressure situations.
