Overview

The Head of Security at Raya is responsible for ensuring the protection of the organization’s information systems and networks from potential threats, implementing robust security measures, and staying updated with the latest security trends.

In Short

• Ensure the security of signup and SMS flows.
• Conduct code audits to identify security vulnerabilities.
• Monitor security vulnerabilities in third-party packages.
• Assess vendor security setups.
• Implement security measures for VPN and managed devices.
• Oversee secure issuance of credentials.
• Manage employee email access to prevent phishing.
• Stay informed about new attacks and threat models.
• Design monitoring and response systems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in security engineering.
• Experience in coding/software engineering with a focus on security.
• Knowledge of network security and penetration testing.
• Familiarity with bash scripting and Linux.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of security tools like Burp Suite and Kali Linux.
• Up-to-date knowledge of security trends and exploits.
• Self-starter and effective communicator.
