Senior Director of Managed Vision Care - Remote

Overview

Warby Parker is looking for a Senior Director of Managed Vision Care (MVC) to grow our managed vision care business and support continuous improvement to our process and operations. This role will be responsible for our MVC business and serve as the subject matter expert within the organization to develop best practices for serving customers with vision benefits, ensuring they have a seamless experience. You’ll establish strategy and priorities, manage insurance financial performance, serve as senior point of contact for existing and new MVC partners, and collaborate with cross-functional partners across all aspects of our business to ensure we deliver an amazing customer experience and achieve our performance goals.

In Short

• Establish and manage payor relationships, leading contract negotiations and business reviews
• Develop a strategy to continue expanding our insurance business through existing and new payor relationships
• Manage plan set-up, driven by both internal and external changes in product offering
• Drive process improvements to achieve better customer experiences and financial results
• Partner with Retail and Customer Experience teams to create trainings and operating procedures
• Establish internal controls, performance standards, and KPIs for core insurance operations
• Partner with Finance and Strategy teams to develop, analyze, and trend insurance financial reports

Requirements

• 11+ years of experience in vision insurance or health insurance
• Proven leader that drives collaboration and results in cross-functional projects
• Proactive, inquisitive self-starter eager to learn
• Able to travel as needed
• Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)
