HR Manager - Retail East - Remote

We are seeking an empathetic and proactive HR Manager to join our People team and support our rapidly scaling retail business unit. In this role, you'll help ensure every team member feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. As HR Manager, you'll handle complex, sensitive issues with empathy and integrity, driving a work culture grounded in respect and teamwork that supports our accelerated growth. We are looking for someone with expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and HR best practices—and who has a strong understanding of leave management and accommodations within a dynamic, high-growth retail or customer-focused environment. This role requires occasional travel (up to 25%) to retail and off-site locations for employee relations support, training, and team events.

In Short

• Conduct and manage sensitive employee investigations.
• Utilize the AllVoices platform to track and analyze employee relations metrics.
• Provide HR business partner support to East Region District Leaders.
• Partner with retail leadership on performance management.
• Support leaders on corrective action and constructive feedback.
• Provide guidance on company policies and collaborative workplace practices.
• Lead training sessions to reinforce company values.
• Administer various leave programs and support the interactive accommodation process.
• Lead engagement initiatives that celebrate employees.
• Champion core values and promote a culture of respect and teamwork.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Retail HR.
• Expert in employee relations and employment laws.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and high emotional intelligence.
• Experience in performance management in a high-growth context.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to provide effective HR support in a rapidly scaling business.
• Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities.
