In Short

• Working independently primarily via video conference
• Provides administrative support in a healthcare office environment
• Answers calls and routes correspondence to appropriate staff
• Requests and obtains patient records
• Maintains up-to-date patient health records in the Electronic Medical Record system
• Schedules visits for the clinical team
• Assists with authorizations and communication with pharmacies
• Coordinates transportation for patient medical appointments
• Monitors and requests the ordering of office supplies
• Supports patients and team members with videoconference technology

Requirements

• Current CMA/CCMA certificate issued by a recognized group
• Relevant professional experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Positive interpersonal and telephone skills
• General computer skills and ability to navigate the internet
• 18 months of previous clinical experience
• 1+ years of insurance and billing experience
• Ability to work well in a team setting
• Passion and energy to handle complex situations
• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant
