People Data Junior Analyst - Remote

Overview

Are you passionate about data analytics and want to join a dynamic team that is driving data-driven decision making in HR? The Compensation & Data team at VTEX is looking for a talented and skilled Data Analyst to join our People Data arm. You will be responsible for supporting the People team in designing robust strategic projects and developing data analysis that helps us be more assertive and data-driven.

In Short

• Maintain and enhance data visualization dashboards to track key HR metrics.
• Manage and optimize People Data processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Automate reports and validate data, improving overall data integrity.
• Collaborate with various teams to gather requirements and provide data-driven insights to support HR strategies.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable recommendations for HR and leadership teams.
• Develop and improve data models and reporting frameworks for People Analytics.
• Stay up to date with HR technology trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve People Data processes.

Requirements

• A recent graduate or early-career professional with a degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Technology, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Amazon Quicksight, Looker, or similar).
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven and problem-solving mindset.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, with strong data manipulation skills.
• SQL proficiency (ability to write and optimize queries).
• Experience with Git is a plus.
• Python skills for data analysis and automation are a plus.
• Understanding of HR processes and key People Analytics concepts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a collaborative mindset.
• Able to communicate in Advanced English.
