Overview

As an Expert Legal Counsel at Vonage, you will provide specialist legal advice to support the Global Carrier Management Team in the development of products and solutions.

In Short

• Provide specialist legal advice to various teams regarding product development.
• Develop customer-friendly and compliant contract templates.
• Serve as the subject matter expert in relation to Vonage products.
• Collaborate with product and legal/compliance teams for E2E support.
• Provide legal guidance on risk-mitigation and disputes.
• Negotiate with major MNOs and MVNOs.
• Work with international counterparties across diverse jurisdictions.
• Understand telecoms regulatory landscape and consumer regulatory matters.
• Mitigate business risks and develop practical solutions.
• Enhance and standardize contract templates and processes.

Requirements

• Admitted to a state bar in the US or UK-qualified solicitor with 7+ years of experience.
• Strong in-house legal experience in tech, telecom, SaaS, or cloud communications.
• Experience advising product organizations across the product lifecycle.
• Ability to manage complex transactions with MNOs and carriers.
• Knowledge of data privacy laws, including GDPR.
• Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated team player with multitasking skills.
• High integrity with a commitment to ethical standards.
