The Senior Data & Metadata Analyst plays a critical dual role, uniting the disciplines of data architecture and metadata management. This role ensures that enterprise data is well-structured, governed, and discoverable—supporting regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and business insight.

• Govern metadata standards and manage tools like BigID for automated tagging and classification.
• Design and maintain regex expressions and custom classifiers to drive data discovery.
• Develop and maintain data models that align with business strategy and compliance needs.
• Embed metadata into architectural blueprints for classification and discoverability.
• Define integration standards for ETL/ELT, APIs, and cross-platform data exchange.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data architecture and metadata management.
• Proven expertise with BigID and writing regex patterns.
• Strong knowledge of data governance and privacy.
• Experience with data modeling tools and cataloging platforms.
• Understanding of data integration and hybrid cloud architecture.
