Overview

As an OEM Sales & Business Development Manager at VPG, you will be responsible for sustaining and profitably growing business at named accounts while identifying and developing new accounts aligned with our strategic vision.

In Short

  • Identify suitable OEM target accounts for long-term business strategy.
  • Engage with existing customers and develop account plans for strategic growth.
  • Present suitable solutions to targeted accounts to win new business.
  • Support and grow existing business within the territory.
  • Maintain knowledge of market region and prospective leads.
  • Follow up on lead generation from the sales team.
  • Manage development projects from conception to completion.
  • Provide timely reports for business operations.
  • Negotiate contracts with acceptable terms.
  • Travel as required to support customer and sales development.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Technical Solution Sales and Marketing.
  • Degree level Technical and Engineering qualification preferred.
  • Experience in Weighing/Force Sensing industries desired.
  • Proven track record in Sales to OEM and Solution providers.
  • Fluency in English and one other foreign language, preferably German.
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage a varied workload.
  • Excellent communication skills, internally and externally.
  • Understanding of technical documents and drawings.
  • Above average numeracy, literacy, and IT skills.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe, approximately 25% of the time.
