In Short

• Oversee a team of SDRs, providing coaching, mentorship and professional development.
• Partner closely with the SDR team to refine outreach strategies, share best practices, and drive consistent performance.
• Pioneer innovative new strategies, e.g., via technology and AI to enhance SDR scale and performance.
• Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to deliver on key OKRs.
• Lead regular team syncs, call reviews, enablement sessions and pipeline jams.
• Research, map and understand relationships with strategic health plan partners.
• Work closely with partnership and sales teams to develop outreach strategies.
• Leverage traditional and unconventional tactics to expand Virta’s foothold.
• Build relationships with direct reports and internal stakeholders.
• Get up to speed on reporting dashboards and performance metrics.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a sales development leadership or manager role.
• Proven track record of team performance and personal quota attainment.
• A team-first mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understanding of the employer benefits space and/or health plan industry preferred.
• Experience working with health plan ASO or strategic partnerships is a major plus.
• Highly organized with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.
