Director of Sales, Public Sector - Remote

Our innovations in nutritional biochemistry, data science and digital tools combined with our clinical expertise are shifting the diabetes treatment paradigm from management to reversal. As a Head of Public Sector Sales for Virta you will be responsible for selling to Public Forum sales which will include State Entities, Government Entities, and local municipalities. This role will be focusing on larger institutions with over 5,000 members. You will have the opportunity to help build our commercialization efforts and capitalize on the national attention Virta is receiving for our industry-changing work.

In Short

• Pick up established prospect funnel and move prospective clients through to contracting phase and close
• Leverage demand generation work from marketing team to create new opportunities
• Growth - Close new logo’s to provide Expected Enrollments
• Further promote Virta as an innovative online diabetes reversal solution
• Work closely with Virta team members to provide client/prospect feedback
• Work directly with SLEd team to support feedback on market

Requirements

• 5-7 years experience selling digital health solutions to the public space - Federal, State and Local
• Quantifiable history of hitting personal sales targets
• Ability to present clearly to key decision makers
• Consultative selling experience
• Ability to proactively manage pipeline
• Demonstrated collaboration with internal colleagues (marketing, product, ops, etc.) to support sales momentum
• A passion for improving the health of millions of people
• The ability to thrive in a fast-growing startup environment
