In Short

• Support corporate governance and board matters, serving as Secretary to the Board.
• Manage and negotiate key commercial agreements.
• Review and advise on customer contracts and RFP responses.
• Partner with the People Team on employment matters.
• Maintain and improve contract templates and legal processes.
• Handle intellectual property matters and licensing agreements.
• Act as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for the company.
• Own cap table management and equity administration.
• Collaborate with teams on commercial legal matters and privacy compliance.
• Coordinate with external counsel on complex transactions.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience as a transactional attorney.
• Licensed to practice law, or ability to become licensed.
• Experience supporting Board governance functions.
• Familiarity with employment law fundamentals.
• Experience with technology/SaaS agreements and data privacy laws.
• Familiarity with IP licensing and technology agreements.
• Strong business judgment and ability to balance legal risk.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Experience in a startup or fast-paced work environment.
