In Short

Define and execute the strategic technical roadmap for backend systems using TypeScript (NestJS).
Lead the architecture and design of highly scalable, resilient backend systems.
Design and maintain sophisticated APIs and integration patterns.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior backend engineers.
Drive cross-functional initiatives to deliver breakthrough capabilities.
Establish best practices for security, maintainability, and operational excellence.

Requirements

10+ years of backend engineering experience with a proven track record.
Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js.
Extensive experience with NestJS or similar backend frameworks.
Deep expertise in service-oriented architecture and distributed system design.
Proven experience architecting systems with multiple database technologies.
Advanced knowledge of cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS).
Experience with advanced CI/CD patterns and API security frameworks.
Demonstrated leadership in mentoring senior engineers.
History of making architectural decisions for systems handling millions of requests/day.
Experience in technical planning and risk assessment for large-scale projects.
