Senior Data Analyst - People Analytics - Remote

Overview

We're seeking a Senior Data Analyst to play a critical founding role in establishing our new people analytics function. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic vision, requiring someone who can dive deep into data analysis while helping shape the future of our people analytics capabilities. Working alongside our existing senior Workday report writer, this analyst will focus on advanced analytics, insights generation, and executive-level storytelling with data. The ideal candidate will have Workday experience but will primarily use that data for sophisticated analysis and strategic recommendations rather than operational reporting.

• Perform complex data analysis to identify trends and insights related to workforce planning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in HR/people analytics.
• Experience with Workday data and advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Strong expertise with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools (R, Python, etc.).
• Exceptional presentation skills and ability to communicate insights effectively.
• Strong business acumen with an understanding of HR processes.
• Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience building people analytics functions from the ground up is a plus.
