Overview

The Virtual Call Center Agent is responsible for answering calls from prospective and current VCA clients (pet owners), assisting them with scheduling or changing appointments, checking in for existing appointments, and addressing general inquiries.

In Short

  • Answer calls from prospective clients in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Encourage appointment scheduling and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Schedule client appointments efficiently while providing a high-quality experience.
  • Transfer calls back to hospitals and send messages as needed.
  • Provide feedback on call management tools and client reception.
  • Manage high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
  • Multi-task using different programs and tech platforms.
  • Fulfill other related duties as assigned.
  • Work remotely for 30-40 hours a week.
  • Passion for pets and client experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior veterinary or call center experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, especially phone communication.
  • Basic typing skills.
  • Ability to work remotely and productively.
  • Comfort working with a laptop.
  • Availability to work 30-40 hours a week, including weekends.
  • Ability to deal with client questions with patience.
  • Passion for client experience.
