Overview

The Montreal Book Fair is currently seeking a Project Coordinator for its 48th edition, which will take place in November 2025. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) for a duration of one year, with the possibility of permanent employment at the end of the contract.

In Short

  • Coordinate and develop partner projects for the Montreal Book Fair.
  • Serve as the main contact for partners and define partnership objectives.
  • Ensure communication and support for partners in deploying their activities.
  • Manage a variety of partner projects effectively.
  • Assist partners in defining their projects and organizing activities.
  • Coordinate logistical aspects for partner activities during the fair.
  • Contribute to the visibility of partner projects in communications.
  • Maintain relationships with existing partners and provide regular follow-up.
  • Compile necessary elements for partner communications, including visuals and descriptions.
  • Draft reports and post-mortems with partners and the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, event management, cultural mediation, or equivalent experience.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in project coordination involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in public event production of medium to large scale.
  • Experience in managing partners and sponsors (strong asset).
  • Knowledge of the cultural sector and the book industry in Quebec (asset).
