Operations Specialist - Remote

Overview

vHive is seeking an experienced UAV professional to provide training and technical support to drone pilots worldwide. This role is focused on assisting both customers and vendors in the field, ensuring they can effectively use vHive’s autonomous data acquisition software.

In Short

• Conduct online training sessions and Q&A discussions for drone pilots.
• Provide real-time troubleshooting assistance to pilots.
• Guide pilots on best practices for drone operations.
• Assist in tracking and managing pilot support tasks.
• Help maintain structured workflows and documentation.
• Become a subject matter expert in vHive’s mobile application.
• Identify and document issues using a support ticketing platform.
• Contribute to the creation of training materials and user guides.
• Collect and analyze user feedback for feature enhancements.
• Availability for rotating weekend on-call support.

Requirements

• Valid FAA Drone Pilot Certificate.
• 2-3 years of experience flying drones.
• Deep understanding of flight controls and aviation safety.
• Experience with DJI drones and applications.
• Fluent in English; Spanish desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and JIRA.
• Ability to travel occasionally (<10%).
