Senior Application IT Developer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Application IT Developer analyzes, models, writes/modifies, and supports software source code that enables business capabilities. They provide primary legacy platform support and assist with migration development.

In Short

• Analyze and support software source code
• Provide legacy platform support (COBOL on HP3000)
• Assist with ETL/Python-based migration development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience with COBOL/HP3000 preferred
• Strong COBOL programming expertise
• Experience with HP3000 IMAGE databases
• Proficiency with Robelle tools
• Solid JCL knowledge
• Experience using ad hoc query tools
• Working knowledge of POSIX/Apache
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under deadlines
