Senior Application Developer - Remote

Overview

Spatial Front, inc. is seeking a hands-on Senior Full Stack Application Developer to join our team supporting our client in Suitland, MD. The application Developer will interface with customers and developers supporting a range of software development activities including requirements collection and analysis, technical architecture design, detailed software design, implementation, test and integration for new and existing systems.

In Short

• Full life cycle software development for a federal agency.
• Design, develop, test and integrate custom JAVA backend applications.

• Resolve complex design and performance issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 7+ years of recent software development experience.
• Hands-on Java development experience, including three years of Java Open-Source frameworks.
• Experience in developing scalable, secure enterprise custom applications.
• Experience developing microservice applications and APIs.
• Experience with JavaEE and Java Frameworks.
• Experience with web applications and web services development.
• Experience with AWS services and technologies.
• Experience with PostgreSQL relational database design.
• Experience in applying Agile/Scrum methodology.
